Dear Mom and Dad,

I (finally) made it to Skyhold!  It feels like it took forever, even
though I know it was just a couple of weeks.  Skyhold's built right into
the mountainside, so almost everywhere is underground while still being
really high up (although there are windows and balconies so you can see
outside here and there).  I got assigned to a tutor (Justine) with three
other girls.  They seem pretty nice, and we've got rooms right next to
each other and we spent some time talking about where we all come from.

Mallipattra's a local, and she knows lots of stuff about Skyhold.
Irina used to be part of a traveling circus!  And Amalia's family sounds
like they're kinda well to do - apparently she's having to adjust a lot
now that she's in a dorm with us, but at least we all get our own rooms,
even if they are a bit small.  And everything here is stone!  I suppose
that makes sense, since it's all more or less carved out a mountain,
but it's going to take some time to get used to.

I managed to finish the books on the sandship, but it sounds like they've
got a really nice library here that you can borrow stuff from, so I'm
looking forward to see what they have.

Anyway, I'm here!  Tell everyone I managed to make it!  And I hope
everything is going okay back home!
