The next day, we leave Redlarch with a caravan heading north. As we travel, we run across a quintet of the friendly air elements (Araqa), who tell of a major elemental disturbance to the north. Figuring that this is probably a greater threat than bandits attacking the caravan, we leave them to their own devices (and guards) and quickly head north. We manage to find a cultist camp site without ourselves being noticed, so we set up watch on it to try and figure out what's going on. After a while, they leave camp, and we quickly search it and then follow them. 160 gp of jade frogs. Turns out they were not the only cultists in the area - they meet up with another group of cultists, and we manage to listen in on a conversation between the air and fire cults (with, as it turns out, color commentary from some water cultists who were also hiding nearby). It seems they're pretty happy the earth cult is bottled up (Renwick is sitting on their front door) and would like the water cult to get bottled up as well. The air and fire cults have taken to hiring mercenaries to try and avoid us attacking their hideouts and bottling *them* up. Bottles aside, it seems the meet was to hand over one of those orbs of destruction. But the meeting falls into chaos when the water cultists indirectly attack and both sides blame the other for laying an ambush at the meeting. After a bit of each side bashing the other, we step in and the fight mostly turns into fleeing. 140 gp, lightning javelin.
