The group flies out with their newly looted mounts (and whatever loot they can carry, plus the two prisoners). While flying to Yartar, we're not sure about arial navigation, so fly west to the river, then follow it to the city. Along the way, we spot the monastery, the river keep, and something that gives off a lot of smoke. We avoid all the points of interest and camp a bit further north. Orc shows up and is generally friendly, so we trade information. (We're a bit curious how he interacts with people who aren't us, but don't have a polite way to inquire.) The next day we're attacked in the air by a crazed air cultist on a gryphon with a swarm of two dozen bloodhawks. Fortunately, he pointedly doesn't want to injure our mounts (he demonstrates amazing accuracy with his lightning bolts), so no one falls to their death. After driving him off, we continue on to Yartar (1750 xp). Once we reach the city, we begin selling the loot, and turning over the prisoners. As this is something of an our word versus theirs, the authorities ask us to stick around (in the city) while they verify things. This is fine as we're busy trading anyway (400 gp, invest 50 gp to sell vultures on consignment), but then Johnson (an Emerald Enclave member) contacts us and asks for our help rescuing a delegation to the elves that have been trapped by an ord warband. The authorities allow us to leave after we post a 1000 gp bond, and we fly to the farm under siege by the orc warband. There we find many orcs!
